SCORM Compliance

SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a set of technical standards that allow e-learning content to work across different LMS platforms. If your course content is SCORM-compliant, you can export it from one LMS and import it into another without rebuilding lessons from scratch. SCORM compliance matters most for corporate training, government contracts, and institutional education where procurement requires it. For independent coaches and course creators, SCORM is less critical — most modern platforms use their own native content formats that offer richer experiences (interactive quizzes, embedded communities, live class integration) than SCORM's older standard supports. If you're an independent coach choosing between SCORM support and features like UPI payments, AI tutoring, or branded apps, prioritize the features your students actually use daily. SCORM becomes important only if you're selling to enterprises that mandate it.
