- Hybrid drip — time-based for lectures, progress-based for quizzes (must pass Module 3 quiz to access Module 4).

Common drip content mistakes
- Too slow — releasing one lesson per week for a basic course stretches it painfully.
- Match drip speed to content density. Too rigid — not allowing students to "catch up" if they miss a week. Offer a 1-2 week grace period.
- No engagement between drips — if students get nothing between scheduled releases, they disengage. Send interim quizzes, discussion prompts, or reading material.
- Dripping everything — some content (welcome video, syllabus, FAQ) should be immediately available. Drip the core course content, not the administrative material.
